| From April 12 to 13, the group held a conference in Dongshan Town of Suzhou, in neighboring Jiangsu Province. The main agenda was to transfer the decisions at the Shareholders' Meeting 2006 & Third session of the Fifth Board of directors and Supervision Committee, evaluation of the first quarter performances, introduction of the main points of 2006-2008 strategy and a ceremony of the corporate culture construction campaign. 65 people from group leaders, middle-ranking officials, elected key members of corporate culture construction campaign and some conference service staffers attended the conference. Chairman of the board Wang Baochen and president He Cao made important speeches at the end. The conference content was transfered to every department and subsidiary for enforcement. |
