Jin Mao Group is always dedicated to developing upscale hotels in China to become a leading developer and operator in this reagrd. Based on the success in investing and building the Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa hotel, Jin Mao Group has set up its wholly owned hotel development arm--Jin Mao Sanya Travel Network Co., Ltd. It is in charge of building another deluxe hotel in last seaside plot of the famous Sanya Yalong National Tourist Resort. The world renowned luxury hotel operator, Ritz-Carlton, is invited for the management. The cooperation will benefit both parties, resulting in a landmark project in China's vacation hotel industry's development for the first class design, construction, management and service. The two parties signed official hotel management contract on March 26, 2006, agreeing on the name Jin Mao Ritz-Carlton Sanya. According to the plan, the hotel boasts a floor area of 75,000 square meters, with 450 guest rooms and 35 villas. It is scheduled for opening by the end of 2007. Several design institutes or consultants with world fame are involved in the project. The construction application is under way.
